I am not a Charleston SC resident, hope it is okay, but would understand if it's not. I am a Nebraskan.
I am a folk musician/singer/songwriter with a unique form of original folk musician. I wrote many songs in concern over the healthcare crisis. I write a few other songs too.
I also have Aspergers Syndrome, a mild type of autism. Experiences with it also inspired my essay, posted in a discussion in the Health Care Reform group, "Needing Health Insurance and Having a Mild Disability." By the way, I didn't always know I had aspergers; I knew I was different, but didn't always know what the heck it was. I could still compete for a halfway decent job while the economy was in halfway decent shape.
I have also been happily married for 22 years. That is something hard for aspies (people with Aspergers) to accomplish.
Here is one of my songs caught
on YouTube; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xYKohJTKNI a rendition of Vive La Compagne, made into a healthcare justice song.My old friend Martin said, "Of All The Forms of Inequality, injustice in Health Care is the most shocking and inhumane.
